1. Who processes your data

The data controller is sole proprietor Ivan Yazykov (Russian tax ID 330602064104, registration number 317332800062927), referred to below as “we”. This policy explains what data the VIVARIUS mobile application and its associated VPN service process.

For any question about your data, including access and deletion requests, write to hello@vivarius.ru. We respond within 30 days.

2. Data we process

The application works together with a router you have purchased. We process only what is required to issue access keys, enforce the device limit of your subscription, and show you the list of your own connections:

  • Router number and its MAC address — the identifier of your subscription. They are how the application knows which access belongs to you.
  • Device model and application version — to issue a correct key and to keep track of the subscription slots in use.
  • A device identifier generated by the application itself. It is a random value created on first launch. We do not use the IDFA, Apple’s advertising identifier, or any other cross-app tracking identifier.
  • Time of the last connection and the IP address it came from — so that you can see your devices in your account and disconnect the ones you no longer use, and so that a key is not shared with strangers. This information is never linked to the resources you visit.
  • A push token obtained through OneSignal — used only for notifications about your router, such as subscription expiry. The token is sent only from devices that have a router linked to them. We do not send advertising or marketing messages.

3. What we do not collect

We keep no logs of your network activity. Your browsing history, domain names, destination addresses and the contents of the traffic passing through the VPN are not recorded and not stored, neither on our servers nor in the application.

  • We do not disclose user data to third parties, do not sell it, and do not use it for advertising, profiling or targeting.
  • Traffic is not analysed, inspected or modified — it is only routed to the destination you requested.
  • We do not collect contacts, photos, location, calendars, health data or any other information from your device.
  • The application contains no advertising SDKs and uses no third-party behavioural analytics.

4. Retention

  • A device record (identifier, model, application version, time and IP of the last connection) is kept for as long as the device is linked to your router.
  • When a device is unlinked, its access token is revoked immediately: the device stops receiving keys and notifications, and the freed subscription slot becomes available to another device at once.
  • Subscription details (router number, validity period) are kept while the contract is in force and afterwards only to the extent required by accounting law.
  • On request sent to hello@vivarius.ru, device records are deleted in full.

5. Your rights

  • See your devices. The list of linked phones is available in the application and in your account on the website.
  • Unlink a device. In the application, tap the device badge and choose “Unlink”. The same can be done from your account.
  • Request deletion. Email hello@vivarius.ru stating your router number; we will delete the related records and confirm it in our reply.
  • Opt out of notifications. Turn push off in iOS settings — the token will no longer be used.

6. Third parties

  • OneSignal — push notification delivery. Only the device push token, required to deliver the message, is shared with it. Their policy: onesignal.com/privacy_policy.
  • VPN servers. Your traffic passes through our servers and servers we rent in data centres. As stated above, we do not record or store the contents of that traffic.

No data is shared with any other third party, except where directly required by law.

7. Changes

If this policy changes, we update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes are additionally announced in the application.
